Public Health Researcher

Priya Menon

London, UK

Epidemiologist. Former LSHTM. Writes about what environmental exposure does to human health -- with the evidence and the caveats.

About

Priya Menon is an epidemiologist who studies what happens to human bodies when the environment fails. She spent nine years at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine researching the health effects of particulate matter before deciding that publishing in journals nobody reads was not enough. She writes about PM2.5, microplastics, and the health claims the wellness industry makes -- always with the evidence, always with the caveat. She believes that good health communication means telling people what the data shows and what it does not, without panic and without false reassurance.
